QUALIFICATIONS
2013: I completed matric at Vryburg High School with a B average and achieved a C in the SA Bilingualism exam.
2014 - 2016: I completed a degree in Bachelor of Arts in Communication at the Northwest University, specialising in social media, public relations, and journalism.
July 2015 - Aug. 2016: I completed an online course on story writing for children at Anna Emm.
2015: I completed two photography courses (level 1 and 2) at the NWU Creativity Centre.
Feb. 2016 - June 2016: I did a French for beginners course at Alliance Francaise Potchefstroom.
Jan. 2017 - Feb. 2017: I did a diploma in Digital Marketing online at Shaw Academy.
2017: I completed my Bachelor of Arts with Honours in the field of Journalism at the Northwest University.
Jan. 2018: I did a diploma in Blogging and Content Marketing
ACHIEVEMENTS
2012: Papierkind placed 4th place on JIP’s Top 10 teen blogs.
2013: I was on the Top 20 at VHS for academic excellence.
2013: I achieved 9th Place in Poort ATKV poetry competition with my poem, Tienerwees.
2016: I recieved Golden Key International Honour Society membership.
2016: Wapad received an ATKV Mediaveërtjie while I was on the editorial team.
2017: I was top of my class in the journalism module of my Bachelor of Arts with Honours course.
2018: I was journalist of the month at Caxton Joburg West for March and April.
2020: I was finalist for the 2020 Caxton Excellence Awards which was postponed due to Covid-19.
